Presentation Workshops available in 2025

Provide support for staff to get outside, move and remain healthy while working from home or commuting to their workplace. We have several 1-hour workshops available in person, or through Zoom, allowing our instructors to deliver the same engaging seminars to participants located anywhere in the province.

Online presentations are available for up to 100 participants for $700 (excluding GST) per workshop. In-person presentations (Metro Vancouver Only) are available for up to 30 participants, also for $700 (excluding GST)

The following workshops are available to book:

Biking to Work - Lunch Hour Primer 

This one-hour primer is the perfect introduction to cycling best practices for employees looking to gain knowledge about how to bike safely to work. The course covers the rights and responsibilities of cyclists, and looks at various traffic scenarios encountered in city cycling. Participants will learn how to share the road and communicate with other road users, how to take their bike on transit, types of commuter gear and how to plan a safe route. 

 

Biking to Work - Intro to E-biking 

This  one-hour introductory workshop is designed to provide you with useful tips for buying, riding, and caring for your e-bike. You will learn about the pros and cons of e-bikes, as well as types, classes, cost, and performance to help you choose the right one for yourself. It will also cover tips for caring for and maintaining your e-bike, along with relevant by-laws and regulations to help give you more confidence in navigating your ride.

 

Biking to Work - Fall & Winter Cycling 

This one-hour workshop covers everything you need to know about biking to work in Metro Vancouver's fall and winter riding conditions. Key topics include visibility, dressing for the weather, advanced cycling safety, cold-weather care for your bike, and how to take your bike on transit.

 

 

Cycling Training and Private Courses available in 2025

Looking for more in-depth cycling training for your staff? We have several in person private courses and training sessions available for employers who wish to train their staff on cycling safety. These courses are perfect for any employees who use cycling in their daily work lives, including delivery services, bicycle tour guides, safety inspectors, or even just commuting to and from work!

E-Cargo Bike Road Safety Training (5 hours)

The E-Cargo Bike Road Safety Training Course will train your staff riding cargo bikes (two-wheel or three-wheel types or cargo trailers) in essential skills for safe road cycling. Due to the differences from a standard bicycle, there are important considerations and skills when it comes to handling and care of cargo bikes, as well as some different rules and regulations for electric models. This is a five hour course. Note: this course can be adapted for any style of bike upon request.

Price: $1,000 + GST for 6 participants.

Beginner Bike Skills (2 hours)

Beginner Bike Skills is a course for people who have not yet learned to ride a bike or lack the basic handling skills or confidence to cycle for urban transportation. This small group 2-hour course occurs completely off the road, in a safe and comfortable environment for new riders. Under the guidance of our experienced instructors, participants will practice fundamental bike handling skills such as balance, braking, steering, and pedaling. 

 

Price: $900 + GST for 6 participants, $1,150 for 12 participants. Bikes can be provided for an additional fee.

Basic Bike Maintenance (2 hours)

This fun, interactive course is for participants who are new to maintaining their bike or would like a refresher. Participants are encouraged to bring their bikes to the workshop and are shown how to perform a basic ‘ABC Quick Check’ to ensure that it is safe to ride. We review some simple maintenance tips that can be done at home to prolong bike life, as well as how to properly lock a bike to prevent bike theft, and change a flat tire. 

 

Price: $900 + GST for 15 participants.

Intermediate Bike Skills (2 hours)

Intermediate Bike Skills is a course for people who have mastered the basics of riding a bike and are looking to become more confident riding on city streets and pathways. This small group 2 hour session will start with a refresher skills session and progress to a Road Ride in the local community.

 

Price: $900 + GST for 6 participants, $1,150 for 12 participants. Bikes can be provided for an additional fee.

E-Bike Skills (2 hours)

E-Bike Skills is a course for people who have mastered the basics of riding a bike and are looking to extend their skills to e-bikes. Although very similar to the standard bicycle, e-bikes have some key differences when it comes to handling and care, as well as some different rules and regulations. All of this will be explored within this two hour course.

 

Price: $900 + GST for 6 participants, $1,150 for 12 participants. Bikes can be provided for an additional fee.
