HUB Cycling, Metro Vancouver's cycling advocacy organization has 10 volunteer-led Local Committees working to make cycling (and walking and rolling), better for everyone. If you're looking for the perfect volunteer cycling opportunity - this is it!
Committees meet monthly (virtually and in-person) and collaborate to improve safety, accessibility, and bike-friendly streets for people walking, cycling or using wheelchairs and strollers. Cycling advocacy in Metro Vancouver is powered by people, like you! We are always looking for people to join! We even have leadership positions available in most of our 10 committees.
No experience necessary and everyone is welcome.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I join if my area isn’t listed?
Currently, we have no active committee in the areas not listed above. We welcome interest from all municipalities in Metro Vancouver; if your municipality isn't listed, please join the discussion group nearest you, send questions to the general discussion group, or contact action@bikehub.ca to discuss starting a new committee in your local area.
Do I need to be an experienced cyclist?
No, definitely not! People of all cycling levels are welcome - whether you've never ridden a bike before but are interested in started or if you've been an avid rider your entire life. We welcome a wide range of perspectives into our local cycling committees to help us ensure we're building a healthier, happier, more connected community that everyone wants to be a part of.
