2023 Bike Awards
The 2023 HUB Cycling Bike Awards is a celebration of organizations and individuals that are making biking better across Metro Vancouver. Now in its tenth year, our virtual ceremony will award those that achieved great things for cycling over 2022, while also showcasing and profiling personal stories and successes.
NEW! This year the award winners will be picked by an independent awards committee We are committed to prioritizing voices from equity-deserving communities and are looking to form a diverse committee of voices to select the 2022 award winners.

The 2023 People's Choice Awards Nomaniations are now open!
Nominate a Bike Shop, Organization/Business, Individual that has done great things for cycling throughout 2022. You can nominate yourself or someone else. The winner will be awarded at HUB Cycling's 10th Annual Bike Awards on February 24, 2023.
MISSED THE 2022 SHOW?
The event was streamed on Zoom Live, allowing everyone to participate remotely across Metro Vancouver.
Thank you Wes Nahannee, Squamish Nation Cultural Ambassador for performing our Welcoming Ceremony and to our Emcee, Uytae Lee. Uytae is a CBC video Columnist and the founder of About Here, a YouTube channel dedicated to making videos that engage the public on urban planning issues in Vancouver.

Arno Schortinghuis Cycling Champion of the Year Award
HUB Cycling is honoured to be able to name a Cycling Champion of the Year Award after Arno Schortinghuis, memorializing his lifetime of dedication to improving cycling conditions and bettering people’s lives. This award will recognize cycling achievement.
In 2021, we were very pleased to present the award to an individual that lives cycling personally and politically, making a huge and lasting impact on cycling in Metro Vancouver.
We are proud to present the Arno Schortinghuis Cycling Champion of the Year Award at our 9th Annual HUB Bike Awards to the Honorable Bowinn Ma, Minister of State for Infrastructure and North Vancouver-Lonsdale MLA.
