HUB Bike Awards

HUB Cycling hosted its 13th Annual Bike Awards on March 3, 2026, celebrating the organizations and individuals making biking better across Metro Vancouver. Read more about the event here.
Cycling advocates, politicians, and regional and provincial decision-makers gathered at the downtown Vancouver Library Square Conference Centre to celebrate those who made cycling safer and more accessible in 2025.
The night was officially opened by Squamish Elder Lisa Lewis and hosted by Meg Holdern, a Professor of Urban Studies and Resource and Environmental Management at SFU and a Registered Professional Planner.
Elected officials across the region attended, including MP Jake Sawatzky, Mayor of New West, Patrick Johnstone, Mayor of North Vancouver, Linda Buchanan, and Councillors from Port Coquitlam, Maple Ridge, North Vancouver, and Vancouver.
