11th Annual HUB Bike Awards

The 11th Annual HUB Bike Awards is a celebration of organizations and individuals who are making biking better across Metro Vancouver.

The HUB Bike Awards spotlight those who achieved great things for cycling over 2023 while also showcasing and profiling personal stories and successes. Now in its eleventh year, our award ceremony is returning in person in March of 2024 and is a private, invite-only event. Stay tuned for updates and photos of the event! #HUBBikeAwards

Arno Schortinghuis Cycling Champion of the Year Award

HUB Cycling is honoured to be able to name a Cycling Champion of the Year Award after Arno Schortinghuis, memorializing his lifetime of dedication to improving cycling conditions and bettering people’s lives. This award will recognize cycling achievement.

Last year, we were delighted to present the award to a prominent figure in promoting cycling as a viable method of transportation in Vancouver. Mia Kohout, general manager at Mobi by Shaw Go, was awarded for her leadership in expanding Vancouver’s first bike-share program and founding Metro Vancouver’s Bike to Work Week in 2007.
