Getting to Bike The Night

August 29, 2019

We’re excited to have you at Bike the Night in a few short days! Here are some options for getting to the starting location at Sunset Beach.

Cycling to the Event

You rock! Thank you for cycling to the event and taking extra steps to keep the city green!

Tip: If you’re coming from North Vancouver via the Lions Gate Bridge, continue southbound joining Georgia St. Prior to Denman St, take a right turn following a sign noting “Stanley Park” to join Chilco St. Continue south along Chilco St bike route to join the seawall and continue to the event. A map with nearby bike routes can be found here under the "Getting to the event" tab.

Canada Line: Yaletown Roundhouse station. From the station, ride your bike along the seawall to the event location. Alternatively, catch the 23 bus “Beach” will take you to the event location at the Beach Ave/Bute St stop.
Expo/Millenium lines: Burrard Station. Ride your bike on Hornby St bike route to the event. Alternatively, take the 2 or 22 bus southbound to Burrard St at Harwood.
A map with nearby transit stations can be found here under the "Getting to the event" tab.

Bring your bicycle on the SeaBus to Waterfront Station. Upon arrival, you can navigate to the Hornby St bike route followed by the seawall to the event location.

Parking Options

If you’re driving to the event with your bicycles, we encourage parking as far away from the event as is comfortable to mitigate congestion and our environmental footprint.
Visit Parkopedia to find a parking lot.

Aquabus fleet includes bike-friendly boats! Registered participants save 20%! Simply show your wristband to the driver and say you’re heading to Bike the Night! The Hornby Street dock is the closest to our Sunset Beach starting point: just a short sea-wall ride away.
