North Vancouver (City) Candidate Survey Results | 2022 Municipal Elections | HUB Cycling: Bike Events, Education, Action in Metro Vancouver

<p>In this year's North Vancouver (City) municipal election, there are <strong>2 candidates for mayor and 11 candidates for council</strong>. City of North Vancouver electors will go to the polls to elect<strong> 1 mayor and 6 councillors.</strong></p>

<p>We reached out to candidates with publicly available contact information. The survey opened on September 13th, with responses accepted until September 23rd, and no responses were accepted afterwards.</p>

<p>The survey consisted of <strong>five </strong><strong>multiple choice</strong> <b>questions to find out what candidates support. </b>We also asked candidates <strong>four long answer questions</strong>, followed by an opportunity to leave additional comments.</p>

<p>The long answer questions were:</p>

<li>What have you done, or will you do to advocate in support of active transportation infrastructure in your city and why?<span style="white-space:pre"> </span></li>

<li>What piece of bike infrastructure is needed next in your city?<span style="white-space:pre"> </span></li>

<li>What will you do to help achieve BC Road Safety Strategy’s Vision Zero? (the ultimate goal of zero traffic fatalities and zero serious injuries.)<span style="white-space:pre"> </span></li>

<li>HUB Cycling has released a Cycling Platform. Which focus areas and points do you endorse, and which ones do you disagree with?</li>
