Bike the Night is back!

 

Join the fun and pedal 10 km along the iconic Vancouver Seawall.
The party kicks off on Saturday, September 14th at David Lam Park to raise funds for HUB Cycling’s work.

Join HUB Cycling on Saturday, September 14th! Fundraise and ride with us on a 10 km ride along the Seawall with hundreds of brightly lit bikes to celebrate cycling at night. 

5:00 pm Pre-ride celebration

6:30 pm First heat (recommended for families with early bedtimes)

8:30 pm Second heat

9:30 pm Wrap up

Mobi by Rogers is offering a free 120 minute ride on September 14th for you to participate in Bike the Night.

 

Join the pre-ride festival at 5:00 pm for:

The pre=festival includes music, food trucks, games, bike tune-ups, e-cargo bike showcase, bike decorating, opportunities to connect with community partners, prizes and more!

Celebrate the joys of cycling with your community while learning all about biking at night. Participate to win prizes from Cirque du Soleil, DoorDash, and more!

Register now, space is limited. This year we will have 1000 riders in two exciting waves cycling along a 10 km loop around the iconic Seawall. The first wave of riders will be at 6:30 pm recommended for families or folks with earlier bedtimes. The second wave will start at 8:30 pm.

All participants will be entered into our raffle, but we have extra special prizes for fundraisers, best costumes, and more!

Every participant will need to fill out this waiver before riding.

There will be photos and videos taken at the event.

How much are the tickets and fundraising targets for participants?

To participate in Bike the Night, participants can either purchase a ticket or fundraise a recommended minimum of $100 (fundraising donations are eligible for tax receipts). You can fundraise individually or you can join a team of fundraisers. Teams are recommended to average a minimum of $100 per team member. For example, if you have a 4-person team, your target will be at least $400.

Buy now! The first 200 tickets will be $18. The next 400 tickets will be $22. The final 400 tickets will be $25. Last-minute tickets will be $35. Get your tickets early for the best price!

Children under the age of 8 are free.

 

What does registration include?

 

  • A 10km ride along the iconic Vancouver Seawall as the sun sets 
  • A wristband that will allow you to participate in the ride and to win prizes at the event
  • A shot at winning our grand prize - a $500 gift card to DoorDash and 2 tickets to Cirque du Soleil
  • Entry to our pre-ride festival at David Lam Park, which includes music, quick bike tune-ups, food trucks, games and tons of giveaways
  • Relief vehicles if you are unable to complete the ride 
  • On-road mechanical support during the ride 
  • By signing up to ride, you are supporting HUB Cycling, a registered charity that has been working for over 25 years to make biking better in Metro Vancouver
