Program Description:

Cycling has gained well-founded popularity at a time when many are seeking safe transportation options and outlets to support their mental and physical health. StreetWise Cycling Online is a free educational resource that helps adult beginner riders gain the knowledge and skills needed to start their cycling journeys with confidence. This course has compiled key concepts from HUB Cycling’s catalog of StreetWise courses and presents them in a straightforward and interactive manner. By hosting it on the popular education platform, Moodle, participants can learn from the safety of their own space, at their own pace, on any device with an internet browser.

Pre-ride ABC Quick Checks

Summer is just around the corner and that means more bike riding! Register for StreetWise Cycling Online - a free educational resource that helps adult beginner riders gain the knowledge and skills needed to start their cycling journeys with confidence.

StreetWise Cycling Online covers everything you need to know in advance of your ride, including what gear you’ll need, the rules, rights and responsibilities of cyclists, how to plan a safe route, and how to navigate tricky intersections. Extra sections for more specialized bicycles, such as e-bikes and cargo bikes, are coming soon so you can be safe whatever your choice of cycle is!

The course is offered on the popular education platform, Moodle, allowing participants to learn from the safety of their own space, at their own pace, on any device with an internet browser.
