Join a Free Community Group Ride this Fall

Riding with a friend is always better than riding alone. 

If you’re new to cycling or just looking to meet new people, joining a group ride is a great way to become more comfortable with cycling around Metro Vancouver. Check out and join one (or more) of these free community rides happening in Metro Vancouver this fall. 

Group Ride with BC Ebike Riders

  • WHEN: Sunday, October 22 at 10 AM
  • RIDE: Several meeting spots but the first meeting spot is at Carvolth Exchange in Langley. The full ride length is approximately 43 KM but varies depending on where you join the ride. Please bring something to eat; lunch will be at Glenn Valley Regional Park.

Tour de Point Grey - hosted by the Vancouver-UBC Local Committee

  • WHEN: Sunday, October 22 at 1 PM
  • RIDE: 21 KM, social ride that will start and finish at 37th/Arbutus Greenway.
  • RSVP: Register on Eventbrite here.  

 

Gravel Buddies Tuesday Trails Ride

  • WHEN: Tuesday, October 24 at 6:15 PM
  • RIDE: Come join Gravel Buddies for a fun evening social ride in Stanley Park. We will be meeting at 6:15 pm by Aaron Webster Memorial, at the corner of Bridle Path and Rawlings Trail, just off the Second Beach Pool area. Leaving at 6:30 pm. Don’t forget to bring your lights! All beginner gravel riders are welcome! Our rides are no-drop, so we will always wait for the whole group. This ride is for women, queer, non-binary or just anyone who feels marginalized by the cycling community.
