HUB Cycling is pleased to announce the results of the 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM), held virtually on September 20th.

This year, members elected six directors to the Board, including three returning incumbents and three new directors.

Re-elected Directors:

  • Luke Gillies
  • Esther Holubowich
  • Anne Murray

Newly Elected Directors:

  • Antonio Arciniega
  • Gabriella Favaron
  • Robert Paddon

HUB Cycling’s staff, Board and volunteer Local Committees are looking forward to working closely with our newly elected and re-elected directors, each of whom brings valuable skills, experience, and perspectives that will help advance HUB’s mission and support the successful implementation of our updated Strategic Plan.

In addition to board elections, members voted in favour of three proposed bylaw amendments, helping strengthen HUB Cycling’s governance structure and position the organization for future growth across the province.

This year’s virtual AGM featured an interactive session with breakout rooms, where attendees shared their insights and ideas on how best to execute HUB’s new five-year Strategic Plan.

Participants also heard updates from Rose Gardner, HUB Cycling’s Executive Director, Leanna Grimes, Regional Advisory Committee Co-Chair, and Esther Holubowich, HUB’s Board Treasurer, highlighting key achievements from the past year and exciting plans ahead.

We are also deeply grateful to everyone who applied to join the Board this year. The strength and dedication of our community is reflected in the quality and passion of all the candidates.

If you were not elected, please consider applying again next year or get involved in a HUB Local Committee. HUB Local Committees are always looking for volunteers and have leadership positions open!

HUB will be seeking new Board members again in the summer of 2026
