#CureCongestion in Metro Vancouver

YOUR VOTE ON MAY 9TH CAN HELP CURE CONGESTION

Congestion is a pain for people trying to get places across Metro Vancouver every day. We’ve all experienced delays that made us late for work or school, or kept us from spending more time with our families.

The good news is, there is a cure for congestion, and you can vote for it on May 9th.

The Mayors’ Council has a comprehensive plan for urgently-needed transportation investments, including transit, roads and cycling. What's needed to make this happen? We need the next Provincial Government to follow through with critical support to complete the plan.

Fun facts: with a Provincial government that commits to the Mayors' 10-Year Vision:

  • Commuters save as much as 30 minutes on their daily travels
  • Road congestion reduced by up to 20%
  • Transit riders will be more comfortable on less crowded trains and buses, and people walking and cycling will be safer and more supported
