Be a Neighbourhood Ride Leader!

At HUB we often hear from people looking to go on more social bike rides, so we figured it was time to help make that happen.

To get started we would love to hear from anyone throughout the region (that's you!) who would be interested in being a volunteer social ride leader in their own neighbourhood. We will be putting together a session to offer HUB members the tools to start organizing their own neighborhood rides. The goal is to support regular (monthly) social rides that are accessible to all and which connect HUB members with other cyclists in their communities.

We will offer you tips on how to design rides to explore your neighborhood and reach out to your community. Please contact volunteer@bikehub.ca before March 1st to sign up. Once we know how many people are interested we will confirm a date in mid March. The session will be at the HUB office and will include food as well as a bike ride.
