Another Successful Year of Spring Bike to School Programs in the Books!

The end of the school year also marks the end of the Spring Bike to School season. This season, we visited 108 schools and taught almost 12,000 students safe cycling in Metro Vancouver alone.

We also visited 50 other schools outside of Metro Vancouver across BC, teaching over 5,000 students through our Everyone Rides Grade 4-5 program

“It was amazing. The confidence and pride I saw in the beginner learners was so exciting and encouraging to see. This program really helped boost the self-esteem of so many kids and demonstrated the importance of perseverance and stepping out of one's comfort zone to try something new.” - Stephanie Smith, Gr. 4-5 teacher at Hampton Park Elementary, Coquitlam

Interested in hosting a HUB Cycling program at your school in the Fall?

We are now booking Fall 2024 school programs in Metro Vancouver with fully funded programs still available in Burnaby, the City of North Vancouver, Township of Langley, and Surrey. Administrators, teachers, and parents can submit their school’s interest here

Our Bike to School courses increase students’ knowledge, skills, and confidence to ride their bikes through classroom and on-bike sessions. To make our courses accessible to all students, we provide bikes and helmets for students who do not have their own. Most courses are offered at no cost to public schools.

There are also programs in the Victoria region, Chilliwack, Kelowna, the Kootenays, and Prince George thanks to the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure funded Everyone Rides Grade 4-5 program
