Announcing the Departure of Executive Director, Erin O’Melinn

After nearly 15 years, HUB Cycling’s Executive Director, Erin O’Melinn, will be leaving HUB Cycling and transitioning to a new role in transportation and land use planning, at TransLink. 

The transition will take place in November and HUB Cycling is pleased to announce that current Director of Bike Education, Rose Gardner, has accepted the Interim ED position until the new permanent ED is in place. Rose's abilities, augmented by an amazingly cohesive and supportive staff, makes a highly capable and resilient team that will continue to take HUB great places, continuing our impressive progress, and expanding to new ways to achieve the mission to get more people cycling more often.

In her new position at TransLink, Erin will build on years of experience in the field, relationships, and strong commitment to sustainable transportation to apply to more transportation modes and continue to make a positive impact on the quality of life in our region.
