Wrapping up Bike to School 2015 - More Great Numbers!

A big thank-you from HUB staff, instructors and volunteers, to all participating schools in our very successful (and busy!) fall 2015 Bike to School season!

We reached a number of milestones this year, including: 

• Record number of participants in HUB bike education programs - 6,600 kids in schools across the region
• 1,725 kids in our Ride the Road program getting kids cycling on local streets, more than 3X last year's mark
• Commitment from Coquitlam for bike education in all schools, following the lead from New Westminster & Surrey
• Two municipalities added HUB bike education in schools - welcome Langley and Maple Ridge!

Education is critical for instilling confidence in cycling, appreciation for active transportation, and lifelong skills that contribute to healthy living and community connection.
