Join a Free Community Group Ride this Fall

Riding with a friend is always better than riding alone. 

If you’re new to cycling or just looking to meet new people, joining a group ride is a great way to become more comfortable with cycling around Metro Vancouver. Check out and join one (or more) of these free community rides happening in Metro Vancouver this fall. 

 

Steveson! Steveston? - hosted by the Vancouver-UBC Local Committee

  • WHEN: Sunday, September 24 at 11 AM
  • RIDE: 43 KM, social ride that will start and finish at Riley Park, 30th/Ontario

North Surrey Parks Ride and Shine Ride - hosted by the Surrey/White Rock Local Committee

  • WHEN: Saturday, October 14 at 9:30 AM
  • RIDE: Arrive at King George Station – TransLink – east end (Whalley Blvd side) at 9:30 AM. The ride will be 15.4 KM with a 98 M elevation gain. The majority of the route is on Multi-Use Paths (MUPs), Protected Bike Lane, Greenway paths, alleyways, and subdivision roads. This should be comfortable for most cyclists.

Tour de Point Grey - hosted by the Vancouver-UBC Local Committee

  • WHEN: Sunday, October 22 at 1 PM
  • RIDE: 21 KM, social ride that will start and finish at 37th/Arbutus Greenway.
