HUB to Lead Rides to North Van Car Free Day & "Slide the City" August 22

Volunteers from HUB North Shore will lead rides across both north shore bridges to Car Free Day and "Slide the City" in North Vancouver on Saturday.

The free community event includes a 1,000-foot water slide, live music, family-friendly activities and vendors, plus, two Bike Valet locations - Victoria Park and Lonsdale Quay.

Join the ride - meet at any one of the following locations at 11am, 1pm or 3pm:

• Ironworkers Memorial Second Narrows Bridge:Meet at the Portside bike route, just above New Brighton Park
• Lions Gate Bridge: Meet at the information plaza at Georgia Street and the causeway (north side of the pedestrian tunnel)
