Get Ready for Summer and Visit our Vancouver Travel HUBs this May
With over 350,000 soccer fans heading to Vancouver this June and July, alongside a record-breaking cruise season, it’s going to be a busy summer in the city. As visitors and residents soak up the atmosphere and flock to parks and beaches, getting around will look a little different, especially on major event days.
To help people prepare for these changes, HUB Cycling is partnering with the City of Vancouver to host a series of Summer Travel HUB events throughout May. These Travel HUBs will provide information and resources to help residents, commuters, and visitors navigate the city easily, safely, and more enjoyably during a high-traffic season.
With increased congestion, road closures, and higher demand for transit and ride shares, cycling will be one of the most efficient ways to travel this summer. HUB Cycling will share updated route information, special-edition cycling maps, details on Bike Valet locations, and guidance on navigating the city on match days and beyond.
Stop by with your bike for a free tune-up from a local mechanic and meet local transportation partners, including TransLink, Lime, Evo, and Modo Car Share to explore your options for getting around the city this summer.
