A short, meandering ride to investigate and learn about crows. We'll also learn some bird language. Co-presented for Vancouver Bird Week by Still Moon Arts Society and HUB Cycling.
Max 20 people. Please register, and if you register please come! so that you don't take a spot from someone who wants to be there.
There are over 20,000 crows living in Vancouver, Burnaby and surrounding cities. Turns out crows thrive in the urban habitat we have created here, with their complex family structures, use of tools, and wise ways.
Join us on this meandering ride where we'll investigate and learn about crows, check out their territories, visit the roost, and begin to understand what the birds are actually saying.
If you have binoculars bring them along, but not necessary.
RedSara has been leading the Crow Roost Twilight Bike Ride in Vancouver and Burnaby for 5 years. She has studied and is tuned in to the mysteries of bird "language" and is a former Lead Instructor with Soaring Eagle Nature School. She'll be joined here by HUB Burnaby Committee ride support.
Birds, bikes, the feeling of flying through the air: what a wonderful world! See you there.
Start location Slocan Park Field House (near 22nd Ave Skytrain) in Vancouver.
